How to make a shampoo for synthetic hair at home?

For those who want to look relaxed and fresh every day, synthetic hair is a great choice. They are also great for those who have lost their hair due to illness. But just like real hair, wigs(toupee) can become dirty, oily, and absorb odors. With just a few inexpensive ingredients, you can create a synthetic wig shampoo that leaves wigs fresh, clean, and soft. You only need to use this shampoo a few times a month to ensure that your wig lasts longer.

1. Pour 10 cups of water into a pot and bring it to a boil. This will remove all the chlorine and hard water deposits, which can damage the fibers of synthetic hair. Boil the water for 5 minutes, put it in a bowl, let it cool, and put it in the refrigerator. When you wash a synthetic wig, use only cold water, as warm or hot water can damage the fibers.

2. Pour 5 cups of cold water into the basin and use the remaining 5 cups for washing. Add the shampoo to the water and stir it away with your hands. Add 1 teaspoon of olive oil to add shine and softness to the fibers and 1 teaspoon of lemon to give it a fresh scent.

3. Put the wig in the basin. Gently move the wig so that all the hair is soaked (to avoid rubbing the hair ), just move the hair. Take the wig out and lay it on the towel. Drain the water, then pour the remaining 5 cups of cold water into the basin. Dip the wig into the water and move it around as before to remove any residual detergent.

4. Take the wig out of the water. Place it on a towel, then wrap the towel around the wig and press gently to remove excess water. Gently shake the wig and hang it on the wig stand to dry naturally.
